One
of the first magazine covers Preston Studios received was the
cover of Space Coast Magazine - a real estate magazine.
It corresponded with the 1984 Symphony Showcase opening of the
Aquarina development in southern Brevard County
Commissioned
by Aquarina Developments, Inc. in 1984 to commemorate the 30th
Anniversary Season of the Brevard Symphony Orchestra. The symphony
reproduced this work on all of their literature as well as their
annual lithograph. The original measures approximately 3 foot
by 4 foot and is entitled "The Muse."
In
January 1987 Preston Studios work was featured for the first
time on the cover of Professional Stained Glass Magazine.
A four page article inside along with additional pictures accompanied
the cover.
The
March 1989 issue of the American Veterinary Medical Association
Journal featured a work entited "What is going on here?"
by Preston Studios - a circulation of 50,000 worldwide. The
original was commissioned by Dr. Jose Pepin for this Aloha Animal
Clinic in Indian Harbor Beach, Florida.
In February of 1990, the work of Prestion Studios made the cover
of U.S. Glass Magazine, sent to most commercial window
glass suppliers in the United States. An accompanying two page
article also featured additional photographs of works by the
studio.
